➡ Midday Wednesday Storm Update ⬅ ❔ What are you seeing now ❔ 👉 Through this (Wed) Afternoon...Temperatures are running near or just below freezing roughly along and north of a Greenville to Caribou line. Watch out for light freezing rain and/or sleet mixed with light snow over the north. Nothing terribly heavy in terms of accumulation...the heavier stuff is not until this evening. Temperatures are generally above freezing south of the Greenville to Caribou line, with precipitation falling as rain further south in Downeast today. 👉 This evening...the heavier precipitation moves in and cooler air moves in from the northwest. This will allow the rain/snow line to gradually shift south toward the coast through the night. By far, most of the snow accumulation will come tonight into Thursday morning. 👉 Snow gradually tapers off from west to east Thursday. All but perhaps along the New Brunswick border should be snow free by days end Thursday. 👉 Monitor weather.gov/car and erh.noaa.gov/car/winter/ for the latest.
