Midlothian Council Transitions Fund Importance: High Information about the Council’s Transitions Fund is now on their website: midlothian.gov.uk/info/677/funding_and_grants/1352/grants_to_organisations This will be of particular interest to organisations currently funded by Midlothian Council who received less funding than they had hoped for from 1 April 2015. The criteria are as follows: •Applications are from projects that are coming to an end and have existing staff employed. •It is a bridging fund to enable existing staff to continue in post whilst waiting to hear about other future funding. •Applications must demonstrate that the requirement is for short-term funding for essential staff costs. • Available for up to 6 month transitional period. • Applicants must provide evidence of funding application/s submitted to other funding streams. Application to the transition fund will be open from Monday 19 January 2015 through to noon on Monday 23 February 2015 with decisions being notified to organisations no later than 31 March 2015.
