Midnight Jukebox...So ENERGY has been a huge buzzword in my week - TopicsExpress

Midnight Jukebox...So ENERGY has been a huge buzzword in my week so far. Everywhere I seem to turn there it is. I started reading the Daniel Plan in preparation to change the way I approach not only food, but life, as I try to drop elements of the world that tend to keep me weighted down at times. The first 2 chapters of that book are laced with the message of regaining energy...that type of energy that just lights your entire body up. I have loads of mental energy, but at 48 and overweight, physical energy can get elusive. I want it back. Then I found out someone Ive done services with before at another church was moving on to another field. I dont know her much, but the times I was around her it stuck in my mind this huge energy she gave off. So I told her that and wished her well. I like being around people with as much enthusiasm as me. In fact, Ill be up at that church in a few weeks playing with my buddy Aaron, but shell be gone. Aaron? He has loads of that same energy too. We feed off each other and it usually creates cool things. Then today at Family First, the man I write for was talking about energy as well. His has been zapped by a best friend that recently passed of cancer. Hes a special dude writing some life changing stuff for men, and I just wanted to fix him. Mourning just takes time. But again...it was about energy. Thats been the message God has been sending me this week. So being that I had talked to Aaron this week, it got me thinking of this song. Ive talked about this song on here before. I dont know why but this song brings out the most incredible energy in me whenever I play it. Aaron and I have done it in several different arrangements, from rock it out to coffee house mellow, but it doesnt matter, because if Im playing it Im going to be on another level of existence. We even did this in a broken down acoustic service last year with me on just a Cajon drum, and I beat that thing (and my hands) to death playing this. But my most favorite arrangement is this one...its the one Ive played the most, and the one I get lost inside of. We arent doing it when Im up there in a few weeks, but it just fits with this whole energy thing of the week. So Im going to post it, pull out my Cajon here in the office, and try not to wake up the house...but I might...in which case they wont probably bat an eye, because music is always blasting from this little room anyway :) Sleep well, and wake up with good energy :) https://youtube/watch?v=2RmZFaruXhs
