Midtable? We are looking at a relegation battle. Losing to West Ham, Newcastle and Villa. No idea what we are trying to do and one defensive ******** up away from losing. No point is writing a review but I will Mingolet -- still scary on crosses but shit its 3-0 without him Johnson -- Christ he is shit. Even allowing for him playing as a center half he did nothing the whole game. But he did cut in from the right and hit a shot that was blocked to start their goal scoring move. Left the right side wide open when a cross would have kept us at least balanced. Skirtel -- still work well, wish he had scored the header Lovren -- not worth the money. Slow and the next decent pass he makes will be his first. Moreno -- played as a left wing and did a lot of running but again his mental error cost us the goal Allen, Henderson and Coutinho. -- passengers, an occasional pass but mostly poor passing and no vision Sterling -- no help on his side, completely isolated and asked to play balls to his head. Complete waste of his skills Gerrard -- at least he seemed to care. But he is truly a shadow of the player he was Balotelli -- is not a player for this system. Might not be a player for most systems but playing as a loan striker with four defenders around you is a thankless task. No movement around by him or by players getting close to him. Borini -- should probably get more time but BR wont do that. We actually got a few chances through him Lambert -- was a nice story but he is not anymore than a journeyman from the lower leagues BR -- from poor purchases, to knowing what to do with what he bought, to not reacting to the fact that every team in the league has the formula to beat or draw us. 5-4-1 with two pacy players in the four, sit back and wait for us to ******** up since we have no striker and not a single midfielder other than Sterling is a threat to score a goal. And by the way why not Lallana? Surely he was bought for these games. If he cant fix it this will be a long season
