Midweek. Hurrah, hurrah, hurrah! All that election prattle on the radio, here and on the TV is OVER. The ads went from bad to worse, each one trying to outbash the other. Ugh. So -- will the mid terms bring us good things or not? Maybe. For me, it is a wait and see. Yes, Im a conservative in many ways, but liberal in others. I guess thats most of us. Ive never understood the hysteria about one party or the other -- both seem to be populated with old crooks who reward their friends and punish their enemies. Bought and paid for. When, oh when, will they start wearing their NASCAR uniforms so we can identify their sponsors? Did you know there are now more active lobbyists working in Washington DC than there are politicians? If I was a citizen, Id contemplate running for office -- guaranteed get rich quick scheme and guaranteed big time retirement pension. Maybe, somewhere, there are some politicians who actually work for their constituents? Anywhere? Enough on the political commentary -- back to real life! Nicer weather today!! Blue skies, a little breeze, barking dogs, busy bees cleaning and polishing, proprietor currently goofing off on FB ... another day in the high desert. Today is a good day to be grateful! Grateful for a nice day, grateful for happy dogs, grateful for being busy! Time to work ... dog transport waiting!
