Midwives are very special people. Anyone who chooses a profession which is solely focused on supporting women through such a transformational and intense (physically, emotionally and spiritually) time of our lives - has to be pretty special. Remember to let your midwives know that you are hypnobirthing ahead of time; and be sure to have your preferences handy at birth, so they know how to assist and support you best. Many midwives are now familiar with hypnobirthing. Please never be afraid of what they might think about your preferences, because midwives tend to love hypnobirthing! Hypnobirthing aligns well with midwife philosophy. Midwives are the experts when it comes to normal, natural birth. ;) Melissa x
