Might I add after pricing lean beef at the grocery store last night Im so appreciative that my husband and son are hunters. We put 4 deer in the freezer this past month and that should be enough to get us through the year. Doesnt get much leaner than venison! Im also glad I like venison and have learned how to cook it. Its provides us with ground meat, breakfast sausage, steaks, fajita meat, and jerky. We usually process 4 a year for ourselves but my husband uses the rest of his and my sons deer tags to give to other families who want to process a deer for the year but dont have the means of a deer lease or being able to hunt their own deer and anything else left we donate to the company that processes our meat and they donate it to needy families after its processed :) #Blessed
