Mike Arnone Some problems in life just seem so big. There are some problems that bring questions, uncertainty and anxiety. When we worry, its a lack of faith. And faith is CONFIDENCE in what we hope for and ASSURANCE about what we do not see. (Hebrews 11:1 NIV) When we worry, it brings stress and anxiety. When we trust God, it brings peace in our hearts. We need to learn how to trust God more. We need to stop telling God how big our problems are and start telling our problems how BIG our God is! Paul tells us how to deal with our struggles. He says do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6, 7 NIV) Do not worry about them, he says, but give them to God through prayer, by letting go and by being thankful. And when we really trust Him for the outcome, then He gives us His peace that doesnt make sense to a lost and dying world. How can a mom & dad who just lost their 2 day old little girl be at peace? How can a family who just lost their home be at peace? How can children who just lost a mom or dad be at peace? How can a person who lost a job be at peace? Its only through a deep trust in God. When we really trust Him, His peace will guard your heart from anxiety and guard your mind from thinking or worrying about the situation. Unfortunately you cant appreciate this until youve experienced His peace. When you do, then its something you desire continually. When youre not experiencing His peace, its a red flag youre not trusting Him. So today, I pray you will trust Him with whatever youre going through and that youll experience His peace that transcends all understanding. Have an awesome day and hang in there and keep looking up!
