Mike Baird, Gabrielle Upton, Pru Goward and your LNP colleagues in the NSW government, here are members of our Miillers Point, Dawes Point and The Rocks Public Housing Tenants Group at the secret auction outside Di Johnes Real Estate in Woollhara right now, where we are protesting to bring public awareness and support for our campaign to: 1. Revoke your Goward Decree of 19 March 2014 to remove all of the tenants and sell off all of the public housing stock in the estate.. 2. Cease right away, the NSW Housing and Land & Housing Corporations Relocations Project.. and in particular the blatant Elder Abuse of the majority of tenants 3. Stop any further sales of the Public Housing Assets in the Millers Point Public Housing Estate.. funded by generations and years of working class taxppayers 4. Appoint a NSW Minister solely for Housing with responsibility to Research and Design n appropriate, sustainable Public, Social and Affordable Policy.. 5. Develop and Implement a relevant 30 year Public, Social and Affordable Housing Strategic Plan (Short, Median and Long term, respectively) in line with assurances to the NSW Auditor General, July 2013.. 6. Invest accordingly under various heads of Section 51 of The Australian Constitution in the provision of social housing for its NSW regional citizens including providing a mandate to residential developers to include 15-25% of its projects to the provision of public, social and affordable housing.. Eg Lend Lease at Barangaroo 7.And generally, to satisfy the needs of the lengthy waiting list currently at about 60.000 of applicants in NSW for social housing.. We declare: Millers Point is not for Sale.. Save our Homes.. Save our Community.. We are adamant: We will not be moved!!!
