We certainly cannot blame the coach or players for our loss and missing the opportunity to play in Brazil. It has been coming and we ignored the signs. Only Pirates has a Star from Africa and Chiefs is the only team to have won the then Mandela cup, but that was years ago. More than ten years ago if I am not wrong. In that period of time, I think Mbesuma was the only player to score more than 20 goals in a season. If I am not wrong, Benji scored 14 goals, left for England half way through the season and not equalled his goals tally. He had to come back from England and collect the prize for being the leading goal scorer. In the immediate past season, the leading goal scorer scored 14 goals, again. We do not have players in top leagues around the world. Our major export at present is Steven Pienaar and he is no Van Persie or Rooney in England. We are f****d up!!! It all boils down to failed administrators. We do not have proper development structures and are unable to produce quality players. Employ all the living world cup winning coaches in the world and we would still not make it. The current crop of administrators, the same guys who have been in office for the last decade and more have done a good job destroying our soccer. I wish to reiterate what I said earlier. Leave Gordon in his job, give him a new mandate, revive the reserve leagur, revive the school of excellence and led us build towards 2018. We are sore, but sizoba strong!!!
