Mike Stone just called me and is excited about the Sport Karate Museum and moving forward , however he just changed my life again by sharing with me, he had mentioned this Hawaii Boi in his speech at the Bruce Lee Museum opening , I am very humbled and excited he would share this moment to the world. He is excerpt from his speech. He is my hero, Osu I know Bruce understood and applied this law because of the positive results he received from many of his choices. Let me share a couple of recent examples of the law of synchronicity in action. Exactly year ago, to the day, the 3rd of Oct. 2013, I attended an event very similar to this one, in Houston, Texas. It was the Grand Opening of the American Sport Karate Museum, but the law of Synchronicity started seventeen years earlier when I was asked by Gary Lee, a fellow Hawaiian and devout spam eater, to promise him that when he builds his sport karate museum, I’d be there to perform the ribbon cutting ceremony. I shrugged it off, not believing he would ever build it. My first mistake! Lesson #1 Sixteen years later, he contacted me again to ask, “Mike, you’re coming for the Grand Opening of our new Museum, right? “ What museum”, I said. “You remember I told you a long time ago, I was going to build the American Sport Karate Museum, and you promised me you’d be there for the opening. Well, it’s done, ready to open” “Gary, I replied, I didn’t take you seriously”, Why not, Mike? I take you seriously when you share what you believe in. My second mistake Lesson #2, Besides, he said, “you promised. My third mistake Lessons # 3. “Gary, sorry, I don’t make promises, I told him.” He said, “Yeah, I can see why, but you promised me.” My fourth mistake. Lessons 4. “Well, if I promised, I will be there.” In Houston, I felt humbled by the honors and recognition I received, but the lessons I learned from Gary was so much more meaningful and valuable
