Mike and I are really a great team. However...we, well mostly him, has been taking care of a sick baby since before Xmas. Hes been so amazing and so patient. Today he took Tuck to our Dr and then kept all the kids away all day so I could work. They got home at 5 and Tuck hasnt stopped crying since so after 6 days now, I lose it. I see the decline. Mike in one bed, me in another, both of us showing our frustration when we patiently kept it in before, the silence is so welcomed that we dont even want to talk to each other, and the blame game/judgement comes on whos keeping it together better- youre a liar if you say you dont do this during the rise and fall of a sick baby. Then he says the most dreaded words ever...I think Im getting sick too. Lord please keep me and my teammate strong. I dont know what I would do without him. Give us endurance, rest, tolerance, compassion, and patience for one another. I know people that would die to be in my place. Help us keep a positive attitude and perspective. Mike Schuetz Jr
