Mike as he is known to all the students is a smiley happy face that brightens the learning environment, he is a real character in the college. We have recently found out that he will be leaving his position as Learning Resources Advisor due to an ending of a temp contract, Mike reapplied for his job but was unsuccessful due to a lack of points in the interview he attended. With 124 likes (and counting) on this page we, the Students, would like to show the college that points are irrelevant compared to the Personality and People skills that this job cries out for, these are the great qualities that Mike possesses. We are not sure that Mike is aware of this internet petition and none of the students would want this to affect any future plans of his. Though we as students understand that Mikes contract is over we do not believe that losing his job to someone who is more qualified is fair or justified due to his shining success in his time here, we as the students plea that Gloucester College rethink their decisions in the interview process and not let this great mans talents go to waste.
