Mike got a 164 on the LSAT for his first (and likely only) - TopicsExpress

Mike got a 164 on the LSAT for his first (and likely only) attempt. Thats probably top 15% of scores. While this reaffirms the harsh truth that I am the dumbest person in my family (as well as the runt of the boys), this makes me intensely happy. Mike never really got the recognition that he deserved when it came to intelligence. Going through high school he was nick-named Golden Arm because he was a young, very good quarterback (you know, the football star). But I grew up with him and even got to take a class with him (pre-calculus with Forsey), and I know just how smart he is. Because he was good at football, he continued with it through college, and thats one of the reasons he is where he is now. Because of his attempt to play to societies expectations (he needs to be a football coach because hes so good at football and dynamically understands the game), he hasnt been getting the recognition that he can be excellent in almost anything he wants because of his intelligence (his intelligence is one of the reasons he was so good at football, not the other way around). This is a step in the right direction. There is no guarantee that he, too, will go to law school, but I cant see him not going. Hell get in to the U or the Y and in 4 short years, hell be administering, shaping, and aiding the mechanism that shapes and governs human behavior and society. Im proud of my family, even if it means that Im the dumbest one in it (and most rebellious/disruptive, likely the least athletic... but Ive got the looks, damn it, lol, and because I am the smallest, youngest, and dumbest of the boys, I had to grow balls of steel to even compete... I claim to be fearless). Im the black sheep of a very bright white fold, and Im just happy to have had the chance to be considered part of that fold.
