Mike is having a pretty good weekend. He looks good and his spirits are up. He seems to be past the worst of the pneumonia. Thank GOD!!! Tomorrow afternoon he will get a peg feeding tube. Hopefully with time & therapy his throat muscles will allow him to swallow again, but for the time being all nourishment & hydration will go through the tube. Hes been having some vision issues the last few days, too. Sometimes its double, sometimes its sideways, sometimes its upside down. He had a CT scan this morning that showed the hydro is under control, so the next step will be to see an eye doctor whenever hes well enough to go to the ophthalmologist. Since he still isnt able to sit up unassisted, it might be awhile before that eye exam happens. As always, thank you all for your prayers & support. ❤️
