Mike wrote--I am a 20 bk left leg amputee and I have worked in the foodservice industry over that time as a chef, manager and operator. About four years ago, I began to experience a pain in my calf on the residual stump of my left leg. It cramps to the point that I cannot walk and need to sit down to relieve the pain. It goes away and I can continue on my way. Stretching helps but it hasnt cleared it up long term. It also occurs when I am standing, working at a counter for a while. I am using the same socket and have reciprocating foot. This has reduced my ability to walk any long distance or work in a typical restaurant setting. Anyone else have this issue? What did you do to remedy it?
