Mikela (11 yrs old) and I just had a very deep discussion about the President. The following represents her thoughts and beliefs and may or may not represent this broadcasting network. Mikela: I dont understand the President. He plays golf all day long while the world is falling apart. He has a trillion dollars and yet people are still hungry & homeless. 1-If I were president food would be free. There would be no poor or rich. Everyone has to share their money. #communist 2-There would be no guns. Instead everyone must learn martial arts so no one can say they accidentally shot someone. You cant accidentally karate-chop someone. #guncontrol 3-We would put cameras in houses that have children. If you are caught abusing your child then the government will send you to an island. #governmentspying 4-The white house is huge and so we can put the abused children in the west wing. We can hire church people to care for them and be their parents. #churchdoyourpart 5-All bad people would be sent to an island so even if theres a prison break they cant swim 1000s of miles to shore. #isolatethebadpeople 6-We bring God back to school and on TV. Everyone can say Merry Christmas. If people dont like God they have the freedom to move! #GodBlessAmerica 7-I would tell the people who are in wars to knock it off. Treat others as you want to be treated. No one wants to die - so thats not treating people like you want to be treated. I would get them counseling and if they still werent better we would put them on the island with the bad people so they can be treated as they are treating others. #corporatepunishment 8-No one would care what color you are or what language you speak. We will create a new language so even if you go to Africa or Japan or Mexico or Canada or India or Russia or Haiti - you dont need interpreters. This way we can listen better to each other and no one will be misunderstood or feel alone. #unitedwespeak And thats what I would do the first month so people could see Im serious and Im just playing golf or doing gymnastics.
