Milady Faith Vet update: I know a lot of you are praying and hoping for good news..and I am just back in from the vet. Miss Faith is sleeping in my room and we DID get good news... I had them do a fairly extensive exam..all her blood work is normal...eyes normal.. slight ear infection... the mass on her side is encapsulated and not removable so we did not aspirate it but the vet felt it was not an issue since her labs are normal. Faith is 12+ years old and her single biggest issue are her arthritic hips. She does have a spectacular case of arthritis/displaysia so we have started her on a pain management regime which should help her quite a bit. I am switching her to canned foods since kibble is just not something she likes. She weighs 53.4 pounds and although that is light for her it is better for her hips for her to be lighter. She will stay with me till the end of her life..loved by all of us in this group and at home and cared for and spoiled. the vet told her that she had found paradise LOL... and I believe that all the saints that made this happen gave a wonderful gift to an old dog..a home and love.. bless you
