Miles is doing SO well today, all of the nurses seem to be very impressed with how well he is tolerating everything. Theyve already been able to ween his epinephrine down from .08 to .03 meaning his blood pressure is right on point and he is at levels where he could now tolerate eating! They want to wait 24 hours just to be safe but theyve already installed a feeding tube for tomorrow :) he is also scheduled to have his chest closed up tomorrow as long as he continues doing so well! Hes been responding to touch and our voices this morning so we are very hopeful and optimistic that the brain damage was not made any worse by surgery. We will know for sure once they do an MRI but there doesnt seem to be a reason to rush into one at the moment. Keep fighting little man, youre beating the odds!
