Military cuts could increase compensation claims Philippa Tuckman, a military injuries specialist at Bolt Burdon Kemp, has warned that sweeping cuts to the Army could leave it open to more claims from soldiers for injuries and negligence. Ms Tuckman said: These cuts will put extra pressure on serving personnel and could lead to corners being cut in training, maintenance and medical treatment, resulting in more negligence and injury.
