Milky murder accused sent to jail The court has sent a leader of Dhaka metropolitan Awami League to jail for alleged involvement in the murder of Juba League leader Reazul Haque Khan Milky. AL’s Motijheel unit General Secretary Jahidul Islam Tipu turned up at the court of Metropolitan Magistrate Anwar Sadat and sought bail on Wednesdfay, pleading not guilty. The court rejected his plea and ordered him to jail. Tipu’s counsel Gazi Zillur Rahman told that the High Court had granted him a four-week interim bail on July 23 , which expired on Wednesday. Juba League’s Dhaka Metropolitan (south) unit organising secretary Milky died after being shot several times in the head in front of Gulshan’s Shopper World on July 3 last year. A closed-circuit camera in the shopping mall picked up the entire incident. Juba League is the youth affiliate of the ruling Awami League.
