Millie is still looking for her forever home!!!! Poor little Millie was hit by a car in March of this year and was left in the road to suffer. She was picked up by animal control and taken to Hempstead animal shelter. Her injuries included a fractured pelvis and 2 broken hips. FFLI rescued her and provided veterinary care including orthopedic surgery and a mastectomies. Happily, she recovered fully and is healthy and well now. Although several people have expressed an interest in adopting Millie, no one has stepped up to take her home. :( She is a sweet, sweet girl who loves everybody!!! Please share and help me get this girl a home and family of her own!!!!
