Milly and Piccolo had a good night at the Vets. Milly ended up getting her mane and tail braided by one of the nurses. The farrier has given Piccolo his first set of special shoes. You can see he has had to trim the hoof at an angle due to uneven growth and one leg growing faster than the other. A rubber type wedge has been added to even the sides up. It will apparently take him some time to get used to the feeling an he was resting on his toes quite a bit last night. But after some time, he took of at a fast walk and looked great. Both MIlly and Piccolo were vaccinated for Hendra and behaved well.
