Milo sure does look contrite! One of our dogs came in from the backyard in the middle of the night (when we lived in Klamath Falls). She promptly jumped back on the bed and Bill and I were wondering whether there was a terrible chemical spill or something--it smelled that bad. Skunk is one thing when it wafts in through an open window and quite another when your 100 pound dog hops up on the bed. And she hated to get wet. So I gave her a baking soda, water and vinegar sponge bath in the middle of the night while Bill held her down and for several days in a row and we all suffered through it.
