Milperra. 30 years ago. Father’s Day. September 2nd 1984. 7 people killed. Just before 1pm nineteen armed Comancheros entered the carpark of the Viking Tavern and took up hidden positions. Walkie-talkies were used for communication. Supreme commander of the Comancheros William Jock Ross walked into the middle of the carpark in an attempt to provoke the rival Bandidos into a fight. All hell broke loose. A family day that turned into hell. When the dust settled, 15-year-old Leanne Walters and 6 bikies had been killed. 28 other bikies injured in a running gun battle that had lasted for hours. Play the video to hear witness Bob explain to Matty, MG & Gus what he saw in Milperra on that day. Photo credit: aussiecriminals.au/
