Milse - Dessert Restaurant in Britomart, Downtown Auckland. A new addition to the Britomart Area, Milse is a petite store with an array of sophisticated treats! As you walk in the corridor is lined with all sorts of breathtaking treats - making it very difficult to just choose one! You can take your treats away or sit down in the hidden dining area and watch the creators hard at work right in front of you ! Mum and I couldnt choose just one, and since it was a birthday treat we sampled Three amazing and very different desserts... A jar of Vanilla, Rhubarb & Caramelized White Chocolate, a very rich decadent Valrhona Chocolate & Salted Caramel and the most delicious Gelato Stick -Bomb Alaska, Berry and Vanilla. The Rhubarb, vanilla and white chocolate was the perfect balance to our other two very sweet desserts - and the complimentary sparkling water that is poured for you at the table is Perfect - refreshes the palate, and almost cleans the mouth to allow for more sweet goodness. And I Just couldnt help myself after all the amazing treats and grabbed a take home pack of the stunning colourful macarons they had on offer. Highly Recommend Milse to all sweet lovers.
