Milton Derrick Simmons Octonber 1, 1934 - August 27, 1986 Twenty Seven years ago today, you closed your eyes and left my life, I remember it as if it were yesterday...this one thing changed me, and all these years later still has a profound affect on me. I Love and miss you so much daddy. There are no words that could ever express the love I continue to carry in my spirit for you. You were my first, and thus far my only first hand example of a Real Man, you were an awesome father, a great provider, a faithful husband and servant of God....from you I inherited my love of music, my passion for people, and my reflective nature, it was you who taught me how to pray, not knowing then that you were planting the seeds that today are firmly rooted. For you nothing was more important than your family, and you showed that in your actions everyday of your life. You remain the great love of my life daddy. Outside of God, I have yet to know such a pure, honest, and faithful love...I Love You....Sending you kisses in heaven.
