Milton Glaser is an old curmudgeon. Part of me thinks that he (and the NY Times) only did this piece to get a rouse from the craft beer community. The NY Times seems to be good at that (I think we all remember the article criticizing large format beers and Garrett Olivers eloquent response). But maybe its our fault (as craft beer enthusiasts), cause we obviously like to bite back. And now that he has opened Pandoras box, maybe Milton deserves to hear what people think about his label artwork with Brooklyn Brewery (sorry to my friends at Brooklyn, love your beer, but he did this to you). Personally, I dont think his design is anything to write home about––especially, considering what he wrote about these other brands. Wanna know what Im ranting about.... check out this article and let me know your thoughts below.
