Mince meat quiches.. IIngredients 200 gms chicken keema 7-8 spring onion bulbs/ sambar onion 1 medium capsicum chopped finely 1 tbsp fried onion powder 1 tsp roasted garlic 1 tsp soy sauce 1 tsp chilli flakes 1 tsp thyme 1/4 tsp rosemary Few drops of white wine venigar 1 tsp ginger and garlic paste Salt and pepper to taste 7-8 phyllo sheets 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil + for greasing 2 tbsp of cheddar cheese Method Clean and wash the kheema. Drain the excess water and keep aside. In a bowl mix together all the above mentioned ingredients except spring onions, capsicum, ginger garlic paste, oil, cheese and phyllo sheets. Marinate kheema in this mixture and refrigerate for an hour. Meanwhile chop the spring onions and capsicum. Heat oil in a nonstick pan. Add ginger garlic paste stir n fry for few seconds. Add marinated kheema and stir for a min. Add chopped onions n capsicum n cook for two mins. Check seasoning. Turn off the flame. We dont have to cook the chicken completely because we are going to put it in oven too. Allow the mixture to cool. Grease a muffin tray. Take a phylo sheet fold it in half and place it in the muffin mould. Fill it with mince meat filling and sprinkle sum cheese on top. Grill it at 250 degree for 24-30 mins till the crust of the phyllo sheets turns golden in color. If using microwave grill it at 180 degree for 10-12 mins or till the crust of the sheets appears golden in color. Serve immediately. Tips. 1. Vegetarians can replace kheema with nutrella granules. It will be equally tasty. 2. To make onion powder at home. Deep fry the onions till crisp. Drain on a absorbant paper. Cool it and crush it. 3. Crush the garlic and roast it on a greased nonstick tawa or dry roast in oven
