Not in Abu Ghraib! Not in Guantanamo! YES! I too watched in abject horror as the planes hit both towers, then the Pentagon, and the open field. I wept as I watched people leap from the towers rather than be burned alive! I cried out for God to Send your Angels NOW! at the moment the towers began to collapse! Do not mistake my position for weakness. I too support the fight against terrorists.... Fight them. Detain them. Interrogate them. DO NOT torture them. If you support enhanced interrogation then you are no better than the Spanish Inquisition that tortured and executed thousands of innocents during the burning times. You are NO better than the Furor and those that ran the death camps at Auschwitz. You are no better than Vlad the Impaler as he sat dining among the impaled corpses of his enemy. You are an abomination of your own faith! We are the United States of America and we do NOT stoop to the level of the terrorists. We hold ourselves to higher standards. The Human Rights abuses that are outlined in The Report... clearly show that we have broken the Geneva convention.... SMASHED our own rules about how Prisoners of War shall be treated. Our leaders are clearly War Criminals and You are no better... You are no better... Evil happens when good men stand by and do nothing...
