Mineral Students Could Return August 7th Mineral County students - TopicsExpress

Mineral Students Could Return August 7th Mineral County students could be returning to class next year in early August, but will be getting out of school for summer much earlier. Beginning next year, the West Virginia Board of Education will require 180 instructional days, but that may not be attainable if the winter is especially harsh. So far this year, Mineral County has had 15 snow days, and have only been in class for 172 days this year. While the first hearing on the calendar was held last night, the second has been scheduled as part of the regular board meeting on April 1st.
