Mini Stock Rules for June 23rd show. Which is a non points night. M 40 Speedway 2013 Mini Stock 'BLUE COLLAR NATIONALS' Rules Jones Michigan BODY/SUSPENSION RULES * Must be a subcompact, 4, cylinder model. (No Firebirds, Camaro, Fairmont, etc.) Station wagons and pickups are allowed. No convertibles or 4 wheel drives. No rear engine or mid- engine models. * All suspension must be kept stock, no modifications of any kind. Officials discretion is final. * Body must be sheet metal or aluminum and stock appearing. Roof, windshield post, and cowl must remain stock. Pickups must enclose bed. Stock appearing after market noses are allowed. Complete stock appearing fiberglass, aluminum or steel aftermarket bodies are OK. Homemade bodies OK but must be stock appearing. NO WEDGE/OUTLAW BODIES/NOSES * Doors must be welded or bolted shut. * Except windshield, remove all glass. No rear windows allowed. * Safety constructed 4 post cage with minimum of three bars on drivers side and one bar on passenger side. * Full floorboards must remain intact. Must have firewall between driver and engine, and driver and fuel tank. * Fenders may be trimmed for tire clearance only. * Hood and trunk must be pinned. No bolting down. * 6” Spoiler Allowed. * Stock type A-arms, struts, and ball joints only. * No aftermarket brake pedal assemblies. * Minimum weight of car with driver after race is 2400 lbs. FORD 9" allowed must be 2600 lbs after race * Screw jacks allowed, Steel non- adjustable shocks-No Canister shocks or shocks with Schrader valves. No coil over type adjusters. Shocks will be in stock location. Stock shock ends only-No Heims ends. * No coil-over type adjusters. * Must have 4 wheel operating brakes, must be factory stock brake system. Four wheel disc ok * No quick change type or trick automatic transmissions or rear ends. FORD 9' WITH 4 LINK ADD 200 LBS No 4 wheel drives. ENGINE RULES * Engine must be 4 cylinders, carburetor fed and remains in stock location. Single carburetors only, not to exceed 2 barrels. Maximum 1” spacer including gaskets. Holley 4412 or Weber, or Motorcraft Carburetor will be allowed. No reworking, grinding, or altering carburetor in any way. Carburetor may be impounded and or confiscated for a period of seven days for inspection purposes. * Heads and intakes must be of stock manufacturers original cast iron. NO ALUMINUM HEADS OR BLOCKS. * Exhaust must be single and completely sealed and must go past doors. Headers will be allowed. * Ignition system must remain stock. MELS and MSD ok Aftermarket cap and wires allowed. * Fuel cells are strongly recommended. Fuel tank must be safely secure with 4 steel straps. If moving fuel tank into hatchback area or pickup bed must have firewall between driver. Fuel cells must be enclosed in steel can. Steel lines or braided hose must be used as fuel line from fuel tank to carburetor. No fuel line in cockpit area. TIRES AND WHEELS Hoosier 790’s Maximum 8” wide steel safety wheels. 6" or 7' Wheels ok CAR AND DRIVER MUST MEET ALL SAFETY RULES OR WILL NOT RACE. ANY DEVIATION OF THESE RULES ARE LEFT TO THE DISCRETION OF THE OFFICIALS AND THEIR DECISION IS FINAL.
