Minimum wage raised for foreign domestic helpers (09-30 17:28) The Government announced today (September 30) that the wage for foreign domestic helpers is to be increased by $100 from HK$4,010 to HK$4,110 per month, up by 2.5 per cent. If employers choose to pay a food allowance to FDHs, the allowance will be increased by $44, or 4.8 per cent, from not less than HK$920 to not less than HK$964 per month.
