Minister for Foreign Affairs donates Trophy for Biochemistry Students The Honourable Minister of State (1) for Foreign Affairs, Federal Republic of Nigeria and the immediate past Vice-President of the Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Prof. (Mrs) Viola Onwuliri has donated a Trophy for quiz competition among biochemistry students in Nigerian Universities. She also announced cash prizes to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd winners of the quiz competition annually. According to her, the quiz competition will henceforth form part of the activities of the annual general meetings of the society. The National President of the Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Prof. Obi Njoku of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka who facilitated the donation of the trophy commended Prof. Onwuliri for the gestures. Prof. Njoku also disclosed that the Katchy Company Ltd had partnered with the Society by sponsoring the societys’ journals and robes for Fellows of the society. Olanrewaju Ajala
