THE MISSION/MANDATE Is to reach Out to others in the name of Jesus Christ beyond the congregation, the church facility, or the local sphere and influence of the church... MISSIONS purpose is to fulfill the Great Commission by love. Loving God, Our neighbor, and loving one another, Love is the true mark of those that are Born Again! John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. Gal.5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. Ephesians 4:3 - Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Luke 10:36-37 Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbor unto him that fell among the thieves? 37 And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise. (Matt.22:37-39). Jesus calls His disciples to give of herself in self-sacrificing obedience to God and service to others (John 15:12,13,14, and 13:14, 34-35).
