Minister’s cavalcades attacked with stones,‘Security Guards resorted to aerial firing’ cnskashmir Srinagar, Sep 5, CNS: The security guards of three Ministers of the present government allegedly resorted to aerial firing, after the locals at Panta Chowk on Srinagar-Jammu Highway attacked the cavalcades of the Ministers with stones. Sources told CNS that National Conference Ministers Chodhri Muhammad Ramzan, Sakina Itoo and Mir Saifullah were on way to South Kashmir’s Anantnag district to assess the flood situation there when group of people attacked their cavalcades with stones. Reports said that locals from flood hit areas of Pantachowk alleged that government did not pay heed to their repeated requests when they were trapped in the flash floods on Thursday. Sources added that some people resorted to stone-pelting as a result there was chaos and confusion.
