Minor Rant Warning... Is it just me, or have modern pagan/occult authors forgotten that there are MALE deities as well as female ones? I am so tired of buying new books to expand my knowledge of the Old Ways only to find Goddess this and Goddess that with barely enough references to male deities to fill a footnote. I know that many modern pagans turned to paganism in order to escape the male-dominated, male-centered Christian church, but now they have shifted the pendulum so far in the opposite direction that it is in danger of becoming just as unbalanced as the Christian faith. Dont get me wrong. I revere a goddess I refer to as The Great Mother as well as My Lady Moon, but my primary focus is the Celtic Horned God, Cernunnos. Am I gonna have to write my OWN damned book in order to have a reference book I can use??? Geez... Rant over...
