Mirabelle update. Her values are holding pretty good not as much improvement any of us had hoped as for overall behavior, she is still to weak to stand much at all, but she will eat if syringe feed and hold the food down. X-rays are being done to rule out that she may have a foreign object in her belly causing her lack of appetite. She still has the will to fight she mentally does not seem down and out just her tiny frail body is not as strong as her mind.. We will give it another 24-48 hours and see if she improves. She is comfortable and other then some stomach discomfort dont seem to be in pain. Her eyes are still pretty attentive to what is going on around her. Her body has no reserves to pull from to easily kick this at this point and we are only about just nearing the 48 hour point since her transfusion on Tues around 7 pm was when it was completed and the vet said it takes a few hours after that for the system to start to respond. . so in short we are still hopeful.
