Miracle Report, Part Two Over the four days starting Christmas Eve, my family gathered on a number of occasions. We had dinner at two brothers homes, breakfast at moms and sisters homes, gift opening at five separate locations, and an open house at moms home on what would have been Mom and Dads 56th Wedding Anniversary, December 27. There are sevaral miracles here. In all those gatherings, we laughed, talked, ate and drank and there were no arguments! (Some years, all mom wanted for Christmas was for everyone to just get along. ;) ) As I left each gathering, I was honored to have been there with some of the classiest people I know ~ and I am related to them! This year is the first in twenty that Mom had the annual open house on December 27. That she wanted to do so was another Christmas miracle, coupled with her wanting to attend Midnight Mass and cook breakfast following. That was another tradition that has been dormant for twenty years. ... Stay tuned ...
