Miracle shall follow miracle, and wonders shall never cease. —Florence Scovel Shinn I wished for snow on Christmas :)) I grew up in Maine, where its not uncommon for the temperature to be 20 below for weeks on end. I remember when i was little, snow coming up to the windows!! As a teenager I hated the snow, I remember walking almost a mile to school and my freshly washed hair would be frozen. For decades my aversion to the cold and snow continued...until I moved to the cottage. I learned to LOVE the snow here and the beauty it creates out every window. It truly is magical...and enchanted. I woke up to a perfect snow covered Christmas morning. My usual family of deer were laying in the yard, waiting for the food they had no doubt would come, as it does every morning. I watched a falcon swoop down and catch something and sat to eat his breakfast in my pine tree. I put three different kinds of bird food out and came back in to watch and make my now famous honey-lemon-ginger tea.....its a perfect day. Merry Christmas, Happy Yule, Hanukah, Kwanza and Solstmas!!
