Miracles still happen and I am living proof... After doing 5 loads of laundry today for the 6 people that call Casa de Baart home, I didnt have a single. stray. sock. No, really, its true. I dont think thats happened to me in, like, 10 years--and Im not exaggerating. Im really sorta in shock right now, but I do have some people to thank. A big shout out to the littles who call me mom for actually listening when I admonish them to keep socks on both of their feet at all times. They must have listened this week (or at least managed to get both socks in the hamper at the end of the day). And Im ever grateful for my husband who is an incredibly supportive (and helpful!) laundry partner. Of course, I cant forget the dryer monster who clearly saw my need for a win and laid off my 4 year olds darling sport socks for one entire laundry cycle. If I were a football player Id do a little chest bump-finger kiss-eyes to the skies shout out to Jesus right about now, so you can picture me doing that. And finally, I cant forget to send a little love YOUR way for believing in me. You never gave up on me or my socks, did you? In closing, never give up on your dreams.
