That child needs a father to guide him/her when she/he grows up. You were depriving the child of the emotional support that a complete family could give. Kung nadapa ka okay lang tumindig kang muli, but you cannot prevent the priest of his moral obligation to counsel you on the seriousness of raising a child without a father. If you were uncounseled by your immediate family, be thankful that it was your priest that stepped in to give you counsel.
