Mishawakas Code Enforcement Department would like to take this - TopicsExpress

Mishawakas Code Enforcement Department would like to take this opportunity to thank those citizens who continue to maintain their sidewalks by regularly removing snow from them. Snow shoveling can be a chore however sidewalks are considered a public right-of-way and there are many people who utilize them. Snow accumulation on sidewalks is especially hazardous to children and the elderly. Please be neighborly! Be mindful of your neighbors who may be elderly or physically unable to shovel their walks and drives. An act of kindness goes a long way. If you are a business owner it is your responsibility to keep the walks cleared in front of your storefront. If you have contracted persons to plow your lot please make sure they don’t deposit plowed snow across walks or ingress and egress points. Contact the Mishawaka Code Enforcement Department at 258-1612 with questions or comments, or visit us on the web at mishawaka.in.gov/codeenforcement.
