Misplaced Optimism by the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza Several observations yesterday seemed to support my conclusion entailed in the article that I wrote at the start of the Israeli war on Gaza, herewith attached, thats dubbed This is a War that Israel Cannot Afford to Lose: War on Gaza is a War to the Finish.” However, although I anticipated the turn of events that would eventually give force to my conclusion entailed in the said article, it sure defied my very wildest assumptions that important decisive influencing factors referenced in my said article would intervene in the same level of audacity, inhumanity, cruelty, flagrant collusion among the conspiring forces planning and assisting in the execution of the attack. Among the latest observations that are leading me to believe that the Israelis’ could not be that far off of achieving their objectives of waging the murderous genocide war on Gaza, I would recite the following: • Notwithstanding the military superiority of the Israeli army as one of the most powerful armies of the world, the incredible complete disregard to civilian lives and private properties in the conduct of the Israeli operation targeting, in direct hits, the civilian population of densely populated Gaza causing the loss of widely disproportionate civilian lives, foremost children, women and the elderly, played as a decisive factor in the potential prevalence of the IDF. The latest count shows whole neighborhoods destroyed including an estimated 30,000 apartments. Thus far more than 1,000 people killed and more than 6,000 wounded including close to 200 children killed and close to 1,400 wounded. • The Flagrant open collusion by the so-called Conservative Arab Camp in support of the Israeli operation broke all the past norms, all the taboos and defying the average Arab’s wildest expectations. The Egyptian regime appears to have gone far of its way in actively participating in the planning and the execution of the Israeli assault. The Egyptian Chief of Intelligence, Farid Tuhami, visited Israel one week before the start of the assault praising, at the end of the visit, the close strategic relations between Israel and Egypt. The Egyptian Regime held firm to its commitment continuing to this day, 23 days after the start of the bloody war, of closing the lifeline Rafah border crossing preventing the transport of the essentials of life support necessities and the evacuation of the wounded Gazans to Egyptian medical care facilities. • The so-called conservative Arab Camp comprised mostly of the Oil Gulf States and the Arab monarchies, maintained a quite and a neutral position not even paying a lip service showing apparent solidarity with the aggressed and condemning in practical terms the barbaric mass slaughter of the Gazan population. Israel could, rather likely, especially after the leveling of whole neighborhoods, of winning the upper hand in the battle ground. However, what Israel demonstrated to the entire world, foremost reinforcing the long held realizations by the average Arab and the average Palestinians, is the true face of Zionism and the true ugly face of Israel as a “Racist,” a Spartan, an Exclusionist and a dangerous entity that could never integrate into the Middle Eastern region. Israel in that account lost the International Public Relations battle. As regards Egypt, and as I wrote in a recent article entitled “As Cairo is losing its Luster, Gaza is setting the Compass to the Free Arabs,” July 22nd current, Both Egypt and the Egyptian Regime did not fair well in the collective Palestinian and Arab memory. This will go far down in history and undoubtedly will significantly compromise Egypt’s stand and privileged position among the Arab people at large. As to the so-called Conservative Arab Camp, and as their unjustifiable silence, rather their deafening silence and apparent covert collusion defied all taboos, as they always colluded and conspired to abort the Arab masses’ aspirations and bids for deliverance for decades; however, and as I wrote long time ago, this Camp’s shortsightedness will prove counterproductive to all their plans to safeguard their regimes, and as I wrote some time ago in an article dubbed “Israel Is Not a Sole Palestinian Problem: An Ominous Regional Challenge, “ February, 2009, herewith attached. The Military success of Israel is a reflection of the success of the forces of Evil in the world as they coalesce to counter humanity’s aspiration for Universal Freedom, Universal Justice and the Upholding of human dignity.
