Misread EKG Results in Massive Heart Attack & 70% Loss of Heart Function for Patient NY Medical Malpractice Attorney Gerry Oginski Explains 516-487-8207 Email: Gerry@Oginski-Law He was in the emergency room. Hed been having terrible chest pain. Lots of chest pressure. He was a young man. With a young family. But he couldnt take the chest pain anymore. An ambulance took him to the closest emergency room. They did an EKG, also known as an electrocardiogram. They did a cardiac sonogram. The ER doctor read the EKG. The computer on the EKG machine also read the results. The computer said the EKG was abnormal. The doctor said the EKG was normal. The doctor said he never relies on the computer readout. Well, in this case, he should have. In this case, the doctor was wrong. In this case, the doctor had no clue what he was looking at. During the lawsuit, I had 3 separate cardiologists look at the EKG. Each one said it was abnormal. Each one said the patient required further workup and evaluation. Each one said that if this abnormality had been recognized, the patient would have had additional testing that revealed he had clogged coronary arteries. Then, before his massive heart attack had happened, he could have had elective heart bypass surgery. Had this happened, the patient would have been fine and gone on to live a normal life. But instead, the patient suffered a massive heart attack only three months later, killing off 70% of his heart. Watch the video to learn more...
