Before he designs a collection, Galliano and his team take a research trip to somewhere fabulous, and immerse themselves in inspiration. For this collection, the destination was Japan: in this outfit is showed an origami cocktail dress in combination with a pair of sandals Japaneese-inspired too. The make-up, especially for the lips, is inspired by Gallianos collections and the world of geishas of Japan. In the autumn-winter 2010/2011 in the first Galliano Jewellery collection, Damiani was able to capture the eclectic spirit of the famous designer, with graphic lines and asymmetrical (each earring is unique and different from the other). Following this style, although the model is wearing two earrings similar but not identical.
