Miss Macy is doing very well today! The doc decided today was the day to start another round of steroids and try again Saturday or Sunday taking her off the vent. So here comes try #4... And its not her lungs, theyre strong! Its the dang swelling of her airway. Good thing she does have a good air leak, so that suggests the swelling is smaller. Also the ventilator that measures her breathing & oxygen is showing her intake vs outtake of air is perfect proof shes doing a lot on her own. So pray pray pray, that this will work! If it doesnt, she may have to see a specialist from Childrens & surgery would be an option....
