Miss Maddie decided to sleep with me last night. First the Tonight show inspired a PM BM and then playtime. She found a fuzzy die without the spots in the Toy box. Playtime ensued with tosses and tail wags and pounces. This activated the Fun Police. Annie had to investigate which caused bigger tails wags. Unfortunately Maddies social skills are that of a 8 week puppy. Doesnt,t really understand boundaries and quickly reverts to survival reactions. She tried to apologize immediately but Annie was offended and kept her distance. I then became the play target. We had to have paw grabs and kibbles and paw slaps and belly rubs. All with tail wags. Maddie then decided I should not be paying attention to the iPhone. And since I was it must be a toy. She was very persistent and numerous head strikes to my head occurred from her tail. She then started investigating couches shaking pillows but doesnt,t ha ave jumping down. After the second stumble I was concerned she might hurt her spay glue so grabbed her and got her calmed down. Put the throw on my legs and watched the late show. Maddie joined me along my calves,put her head on my hip and went to sleep. Stayed with me all night. The remote hit the floor around 0500 and Damn. She is fast. She came back though and crawled into my lap and took another nap while I patted her. No coffee. I must say I am Thankful for this little baby and the joy I get from sharing her little victories. Happy Thanksgiving all. Joe
