Rajan (Anandan), the Head of Google, India and quite a few others invested in the project because they believed in the concept. Blogs like Popsugar and Perez Hilton were already popular worldwide. So when I started the blog, it attracted a lot of attention. Now again, we are planning to expand into other ventures. What kind of ventures? Everyone asks for help from us on how to run their social media. So, I figured why not start a wing to the business that runs people’s social media for them? And we come with an added advantage of promoting their handle through our blog. That’s something no other social media management companies can offer. Ive worked so closely with Google, Facebook and Twitter that I think it will be easier for people to trust us. I had Ranveer Singh’s and Kalki Koechlin’s Twitter verified recently. Other than that, we have a show coming up with NDTV, like you saw when we were shooting for its pilot. The show, called Miss Malini’s World, should be on air in another couple of months or so and it’s about us and how we do our thing. So, it will be as much about our office gossip as it is about celebrity link ups. It’s like TMZ meets Saturday Night Live meets Keeping up with the Kardashians.
