Missed day 4 of the things Im thankful for.Had a long unproductive day trying to strip two wooden floors upstairs in my red house.We thought we had the floors ready but some kind of funky glue stuff kept us working all day and the floors are not stripped at all.Worked from 10a until midnight...with a rented stripper and various chemicals. Have more ideas to try today.But#1Very thankful for my good friends Chuck ....Charles Begay...and Butch. They have worked with me all summer on the house and yard.We are still not done but we have done much .We have had lots of fun together. Even yesterday being such a mess all day long we found excuses to laugh often.#2 Thankful I have a home...really 2.Both are 100 years old this year.Neither are worth much in the market place but they are priceless to me.#3Thankful that I am a handywoman of sorts.Instead of all this home improvement stuff being a chore it has been fun,interesting. I like to shop at hardware stores way more then clothes stores.Strange but true.Today I challenge 3 other handywomen Carol Marvin Jen Perkins and Lisa Spatz
